Louisiana State University recently tested eight commercial products listed in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (USEPA) Office of Emergency Management Regulatory and Policy Division's National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP) Product Schedule.
These eight products were all tested for their effectiveness on the materials spilled from the Deep Horizon Oil Spill of 2010, namely alkanes and PAHS. The tests were conducted using weathered oil and gulf water collected from an area (in the northern Gulf of Mexico) impacted by the spill.
The results from this report for The Oppenheimer Formula and the controls are indicated below. To obtain a copy of the entire report please contact us.
