This system has been developed to optimize the efficiency of commercial greasetraps and to minimize required maintenance. It focuses on using The Oppenheimer Formula IV along with an oxgenator - Cogen I. The customized microbes thrive on emulsifying and digesting oil and grease, accelerating the recycling process.
Use of both of these products on a regular basis will result in a reduction in routine pumping and the necessary disposal of those solids. However, pumping for non-grease solids may still be necessary.
Because our microbes require oxygen in order to survive, the use of Cogen I is necessary to ensure an adequate supply of oxygen throughout the system.
The greasetrap used in food processing is a simple rentention tank, of varying sizes depending on the facility. The tank is placed between the drain from the facility and the sewage main. The trap is designed to allow flowing grease and food to accumulate at the surface. The purpose is to reduce the organic loading of the effluent water by trapping grease and oils.
The size of the tank will vary, but it is generally sized to the amount of water flow-through during a 24 hour period. For example - a 500 gallon tank has a 500 gallon of water flow-through.
User must adhere to all regulations regarding hydrocarbons.
