AquaZyme® - for minor oil & fuel spills on water.
AquaZyme® is an innovative, cost effective, and highly absorbent product that contains oil eating microbes. It is designed for use on minor oil and fuel spills on on water, either salt, brackish, or fresh. It can be applied either in a wet or dry state. This product replaces conventional absorbent products that you may be currently using. Most other absorbents leave an oily residue, but AquaZyme® does not. This product is intended for use on liquid hydrocarbons. If the spilled material is in the form of a sludge or tar ball it will need to be liquefied prior to applying AquaZyme®
Step One - Physical
The absorbent quickly locks up the spilled material and prevents it from expanding.
Step Two - Biological
The microbes are activated once they hit the water and immediately begin to eat, digest and transform the spill material into non-toxic byproducts.
Note .... user must adhere to all regulations regarding hydrocarbons.
